Clay 1000g x4 — Non-woven w/ Hook
Clay 1,000g × 4 sachets (4,000g total) non-woven fabric with OEM logo and 4 individual PP hanging hooks — a complete 40ft container desiccant kit for 20–30-day intra-Asian voyages. 28–35% absorption per sachet; 20–25% cost saving vs equivalent silica gel kit. The cost-optimized choice for timber, mechanical goods and apparel not requiring FDA food-grade compliance.
CEMACOSG's Clay Montmorillonite 1,000g Hanging Set (4 sachets × 250g) with logo-printed non-woven fabric and galvanised hooks is a large-format natural mineral desiccant solution for container and warehouse humidity control — best suited for agricultural produce, finished wood and textiles on export voyages subject to large temperature swings. Clay maintains stable absorption performance from 20–50°C, does not liquefy when saturated and requires no retrieval or disposal protocol after use.
Technical Specifications
- Net weight: 1,000 g — set of 4 sachets × 250 g each (tolerance ±3% per sachet)

- Optimal operating range: 20–50°C, RH 30–80%
- Packaging material: PP spunbond non-woven 50 g/m² with logo print
- Hook: Galvanised steel, load capacity > 5 kg
- Standards: FDA 21 CFR 182.2727 (GRAS) · ISO 9001:2015 · HACCP

Practical Applications
- Agricultural commodity containers (intra-Asia & Middle East lanes): Green coffee beans, black pepper and raw cashews in 60 kg jute bags in 20-ft containers — the Vietnam–UAE lane runs 18–22 days with Jebel Ali terminal temperatures of 40–50°C. Four 1,000g clay sets (two per side wall) reduce internal container RH from 80% to 55–60%, preventing mould growth on jute bag surfaces.
- Finished hardwood containers to the USA: Teak and walnut products — 28–35-day trans-Pacific voyages at sea RH of 85–90%. Clay does not saturate as rapidly as silica gel under sustained high RH, making it more suitable for longer ocean routes.
- Textile containers to EU: Fabric rolls, polyester yarn and boxed garments — "container rain" causes fabric wilting and dye transfer. Three to four clay sets in a 40HC container (12 kg clay total) absorb the cumulative moisture load over a 25-day Indian Ocean voyage.
